Dear Parents, Hari Om!
Pujya Gurudev's Grace and our Swamiji's blessings, all kids are learning and enjoying it !. Here is a recap of this week's class.
Prayers: We chanted Om and started with opening prayers. This helps the kids settle into devotional mindset and focused mindset.
Since this was a short class, we recapped Avatara by watching a short video. We also recited the 1st two Dasavatara Stotram.
After this we all went to the template hall for Jagannath Rath Yatra. Kids had lots of fun seeing the story of Puri, about Sri Jagannath, and finally spent an amazing time preparing the Rath. I am sure most parents were around and witnessed the coloring, wrapping and decorating various parts of the Rath. The activity culminated with Sri Jagannnath's Rath Yatra around the ashram temple hall with lots of chanting. We will share pictures and videos on the whats app group.
It was great to see all kids participating and getting points for Arjuna's Arrow's team.
Quick Reminder: Here are the Prayers we chant each week with reference page numbers from prayer books. We encourage parents and kids to recite them at home as well. Sangeeta Ji will also send a audio recording of stotram and bhajan:
