Hari Om Parents!
With Pujya Gurudev's Grace and our Swamiji's blessings, all kids are learning and enjoying Balavihar classes !. Here is a recap of the last class.
- We chanted Om and started with opening prayers. This helps the kids settle into devotional mindset and focused mindset.
- Recap of all prior stories. In addition we are repeating names of all 10 Avatara's. Repetition will ensure they know all 10 names soon.
It is always amazing to see how so many kids already know a lot of stories and the many characters they are able to relate to.
Quick Reminder: Here are the Prayers we chant each week with reference page numbers from prayer books. We encourage parents and kids to recite them at home as well. Sangeeta Ji will also send a audio recording of stotram and bhajan:
To ensure a smooth and enriching experience for everyone, please take a moment to review the reminders:
1. Inform Us in Advance of Any Absence: A quick message helps us plan activities and ensure your child does not miss out.
2. Participate in Activities & Events: Your involvement—whether through feedback, volunteering, or attending special days—makes a big difference!
3. Supplies: Please make sure your child has the My Prayers Book, 2026-27 Bala Vihar Handbook, if possible, notebook in their BV bag.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out. We are here to support your child’s spiritual growth and make this journey memorable for everyone.
Reminder: This year’s theme, Bala Bhagvatam, will focus on stories of Vishnu and Dashavatara. This will take our Grade 3 learners on a joyful journey through tales of various avatara—bringing ancient stories to life through art, drama, music, and interactive activities.
Warm regards,
